Lead assignment by ZIP code

SOLVE

One of our clients is assigning lead to salespeople according to the ZIP code of the lead.

is there a way to create a workflow to manage these assignments withour having to create over 8000 if/then rulls (for each ZIP code).

The ideal would be if we can upload somehow a batch of ZIP codes and assign each batch to a specific sales person.

If this is not possible in HubSpot, is there any external tool that we can integrate to manage these assignments?

Thanks

Ron

Hi @Benvenisti,

If I may jump in here, yes, it is. I explained how here: https://community.hubspot.com/t5/CRM/Filtering-a-view-with-a-comma-separated-list-of-company-IDs/m-p...

Hey Ron. I believe you should be able to copy a list, separated by semicolons, should work, yes. If it's all in a spreadsheet, you should be able to find + replace commas with semicolons. Hopefully that makes a little easier.

@Benvenisti if you create a list for regions based on ZIP codes, and included all values there, you could create a wrokflow that looks at list membership instead of individual ZIP codes. It's still going to be a bit of a lift, as there isn't a choice or ZIP code ranges, but you could certainly build a filter of multiple codes. That would be my first route.

Lead assignment by ZIP code

SOLVE

Hi Dan, thanks so much for your quick respond.

I'm looking into the solution you proposed and I have one question.

while creating the list based on the filter - ZIP code is equal to any of ..., is it possible to copy paste into the value field all the ZIP codes for a specific sales person?

each sales man may have hundreds of ZIP codes and there are over 30 sales people so inserting each code separately is quite impossible.

Thanks

Ron
