Lead Owner to always be one of the two users we have specified

SOLVE

Hi guys!
When adding a new record in the Lead object, we would like the Lead Owner to always be one of the two users we have specified.
Additionally, we would like the Leads to be assigned alternately to both users, i.e. the first to X, the second to Y, the third again to X, etc.

Can it be done in HubSpot?

Hi @ASobusiak,

 

Yes, this can be done via the "Rotate records" workflow action in a leads-based workflow, see here: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/records/how-to-set-a-record-owner#rotate-records-between-multiple-owne...

 

You would enroll leads based on 'When filter criteria is met' > 'Lead owner is unknown', then add the action described above.

 

For this to work, you need to disable the contact/company owner sync: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/prospecting/set-up-leads#configure-lead-ownership

 

Alternatively, rotate the contact/company records themselves and set up a contact/company based workflow.

Yes, you can use rotation:

You need to make sure that you don't have sync between company and contact owenrs.
