Industry score in Hubspot with Account Industry from SF

We just discovered an issue with scoring contacts. In SF the Industry is on the Account Object for Contacts while Industry is on the Lead Object. It appears that contacts don't have an industry so the industry dependent score skips SF contact records. How do we get the Industry to score on SF contacts?

Can you check your mapping? I am currently looking at an active SFDC<>HUBS connection and seeing a standard industry map for both contacts and companies in HubSpot. These are being pulled from SFDC contact and account objects respectively.

If you are seeing the mappings in your HubSpot settings are those values being populated on the SFDC side?

Is there any reference to the SFDC industry in your HubSpot that you could use a workflow to copy from or change the lead score?

Or potentially I am misunderstanding your question altogether?

I looks like Industry is mapped but what I see is that contacts in SF do
not have industry populated in Hubspot. If the record is a lead in SF then
the Hubspot record has industry. So something changes when a person becomes
a contact in salesforce. What might be the reason for this?
