Importing multiple objects in Hubspot

Hi there,

I want to import multiple objects like contacts, companies, and deals with emails and notes activities. What's the best practice; multiple objects or single objects?

Help me understand one thing, multiple objects mean I can add all 3 objects in a file and import it and in the single object, I have to create 3 lists and import one-by-one. Right?

Hi @LAryan,

Importing multiple objects at once means that HubSpot will automatically establish associations between the records. If you import separate files, HubSpot will not necessarily do that, especially outside of the contact/company relationship. In other words, a deal record might be created from a single object import but the right sidebar of the deal record would not show which companies and contacts the deal is associated to.
