Importing List Errors


This was a mess....


I did my first import from a .csv file and it came back with 1100 erros. Can I de-import this list and start over?


Hubspot isn't escpaislly intuitive so does anyone have suggestions on doing this over. I'm just imprting a list of names, companies and contacts. Shouldn't be this hard.

Hi, @tspira. If the system is indicating there were errors - and not warnings - with your import, then those records don't exist in HubSpot. They'll need to be reimported, after you review the errors and take steps to create your data. Review this help article on common list import error types, and find the one that corresponds to the output on the errored .csv from HubSpot. 


If your error .csv includes warnings, then that means the contact was created or updated, but there were some cells in your import which have invalid data (or aren't properly mapped). Any contacts with a warning will exist in the system, but won't contain 100% of the data on your .csv.
