I got a request from a client that they want to be able to save the approval history on a deal in the sales pipe. They have this function in Salesforce.

I have not found a similar functionality in HubSpot. Anyone here who have found a workaround for this? Of course you can set up Custom properties and have the approvers log this data manually, but I would rather avoid that as much as possible.
@Petter you might want to consider building a custom CRM card on the deal record that surfaces the approval information, we built something similar when I was at Aptitude 8 for a client that needed the approvals process documented.

Yes they have sales enterprise and we have the approval process set up. But do you know where the approval history i stored and how detailed? I have not found a good information about this in HubSpot.
The only property I found so far is the "Latest approval Status". We want to be able to collect data from When the deal was approved and by Who. Do you have any workaronund for that?
Thank you, yes I know that one. But when the deal moves out of the Pending Approval stage, that activity flow seems to be lost? At least I haven't found it on deals that are not in the Approval stage.

Yes, hopefully this is something that will be added in the near future. Gonna check if there’s already a post in the Idea forum about this. Otherwise I’ll create one 😉 I mean the data is already in HubSpot so it’s kind of strange that it’s not viewable in all deal stage past the approval stage.
