How to find companies with deals closed in the same day
SOLVE
Hi everyone,
We need to find a way to find the deals closed on the same day or in consecutive days under a company. This is necessary for us to be able to locate the split payments. Can you advise if there is a way to do this?
Unfortunately, HubSpot does not natively support a property that groups deals with similar close dates. I've seen attempts to categorise close dates into buckets, like for example 'Months'. However, this method often results in missed deals, especially those that are close together but fall in different bucket or in the example sake, Months, like the end of January and the start of February. There are more advanced workflows available, but most require access and expertise to HubSpot's workflow coding or require more extensive workflows. If you're interested in exploring these, please let me know.
Another solution involves customising the central tab on the company page and is more focused on making the data easier to spot. To do this, simply click on 'Customize Tabs' as shown below.
From there, you can create a custom tab with cards that display data. Click on 'More' and 'Create New Tab', then 'Add Cards'. The aim here is to show associated deals and additional details not typically visible on the associated deals tab on the right-side panel.
To achieve this, choose 'Create Card' and 'Association Table' as indicated below.
Select 'Deals' as the property type and any properties you wish to display, such as 'Closed Won Date'. You may also add any additional filters like 'Closed Won Date is Known' to limit the returned deals. It also allows you to add any quick filters for easier data sifting.
Now, crucially, you can decide on the sorting criteria. By selecting 'Closed Won Date', deals will be sorted from newest to oldest, displaying the date in a column, which facilitates the identification of deals with similar dates.
However, the limitation of this method is it does not automatically flag the deals, just simply makes them easier to find.
I hope the above helps, but If you would prefer to explore the idea of more extensive workflows to achieve the flagging of deals, please let me know.
Recent deal close date: the date of the last associated deal closed as won. This is set automatically by HubSpot.
Simply filter for companies where "Recent deal close date is less than 1 day ago".
This would extend to the last 24 hours, HubSpot does unfortunately not get more accurate than that without more customisation, requiring Operations Hub Professional.
Best regards!

Hi Karsten,
Thank you so much for the reply. Unfortunately, using this property as you suggested only lists the companies which have deals closed 1 day from today.
What I'm looking for is finding deals that have same close dates, or that were closed in the consecutive days. I need to be able to juxtapose the close dates of the deals under one company and find the ones that have close close dates.
