How to delete one of my Community posts?

I'm new and cannot figure out how to delete one of my Community posts. It should be but it is not obvious.

How to delete one of my Community posts?

@Anonymous I appreciate your passion on this topic. However, the HubSpot community is a supportive avenue for customers to share advice and tips and help answer questions about how to be successful with the product, so we will no longer be engaging in this topic, and I will be locking this thread.

If you have any further questions about legal, privacy, trust, and safety, you can find everything you need by checking out the community's footer. This includes our privacy policy, the Community Terms of Use, our Guidelines, DSA policy, and cookie policies. Here's our anti-abuse form you may fill out as well.

How to delete one of my Community posts?

Hi @mbigger,

Welcome to the Community and HubSpot!

Currently, community members don't have the ability to delete posts in Community. You would only be able to edit your response with the "..." in the top right corner of your posts.

We strive to ensure that the HubSpot Community embodies our company values, one of which is to be remarkably transparent. In the spirit of this, we do not delete community posts for transparency.

If you were able to solve something on your end, you can reply to your post and explain how you solved your question so other Community members can reference it in the future.

You can read more about our values and community guidelines in this post and our community terms of use here. Should you have any questions regarding guidelines, terms, or policies, please let us know via community@hubspot.com.  Thank you!

Best,
Kristen

How to delete one of my Community posts?

Hi @Anonymous - thanks for your feedback, we appreciate it. We do offer the right to be forgotten and are fully compliant with GDPR practices. The option to close someone's account can be found by clicking their avatar on the top right > Settings > Close Account. This will fully anonymize the user and their personal information.

We don't allow deletion of posts because there could be many other helpful and valuable comments to that specific post that would be lost if someone deleted their post. Instead, we offer the ability to edit the context or remove any information they'd like from the original post - or we can edit it for the customer.

Thank you again for your feedback.

I already filed my complaint. Facebook tried that, and they lost, which is
why now you can delete a comment, and anything below just moved up. That
was 5m fine. They tried it in Turkey too and they lost.  Lithium platform allows to delete comments, and they must move up it' 's been like this for a decade. Doesn't make any logical sense why you prevent the setting to be used as it's suppose to.

I am planning to file a formal complaint against your site with BTK in Turkey. If my complaint is upheld, your site will be delisted for anything related to our account. Even Facebook had to comply with a similar complaint. Any person in Turkey can file a formal complaint and have any company delisted within 4 hours. This is done by filing a CIMER President complaint under the Internet Law, and BTK will issue a delisting order. The best part is that it won't cost me anything to file a complaint, and the local office of BTK will take care of the rest. Go check the delist and search our company name. You'll see thousands of complaints, and we won 99% of every single complaint.

I have successfully won every single case against Meta, Google, VK, Twitter, and other such companies. You seem to be unaware of the Turkish law regarding privacy and the right to delete anything.
