How to create workflow/sequence from Closed lost dropdown

Hi,

We created a drop-down list for the reason why a deal was closed lost.

How can I trigger a workflow/sequence based on which option in the dropdown list was chosen?

Hi @HGorelick,

If you want to trigger different action based on what was selected, a 'Value equals branch' is the easiest option:

It'll automatically create branches under which you can specify actions for each reason, e.g. internal notification, sequence enrollment, automated marketing email etc.

I do not see an option to put 'dropdown' in perenthesis.

Hi @HGorelick,

My property name is different from yours, it's a custom property that I had created earlier. So yes, this will work regardless of how the property is named exactly 🙂

Hi @HGorelick ,

If you created the drop down as a deal property, you can trigger a workflow by selecting:

Filter type: Deal properties : Closed/Lost Reason: is any of: XYZ reason

Any time a Deal has the Closed/Lost Reason property set to whichever reason you selected, this should trigger the workflow.
