Help with Automating Sequences Through Workflow

Objective Overview

We have built out a series of sequences of two template emails announcing our participation to exhibit at a trade show. To automate the enrollment, we built a workflow that will have this sequence be sent to the segmeneted list based on two branches

1. Contact has a known "contact sales owner" Sequence with Sales Rep contact info Token in email is sent

2. Contact has an Unknown "contact sales owner" Sequence with a designated sales rep contact info is sent. 

After checking status of both the sequence and workflow, it was noticed that there are 0 contacts enrolled.

I can manually add someone to the sequence. but with several thousand. I would definitely need the workflow to execute. 

Please let me know what other screen shots or info i need to supply in order to remedy this issue.

Hi @CGiggy,

 

The main issue seems to be that some users on whose behalf you're trying to send emails do not have access to the sequence. Please make sure that the sequences are accessible by all users: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/sequences/share-sales-content-with-users-and-teams

 

After updating the access, you could manually re-enroll the affected contact and check if the issue is resolved.

 

There are more error messages but this seems to be the crucial one that needs to be tackled first.

  • The connected app returned an error: Can you please share the error description if this is different from the one you shared?
  • Contact has opted out of receiving communications: Nothing you can do here. If the contact chose to not receive emails from, the sequence won't send.
