Gravity Forms & HubSpot -- Migrate to just HS or Integrate? How and Why?
解決
We're looking to migrate off of GravityForms and replace them with Hubsport Forms.
Are there any automated tools that will replicate look / feel of existing forms and then migrate them to Hubspot?
We have seen that Gravity Forms can be integrated via the plugin with Hubspot -- but we haven't been able to find any information on why this would be beneficial over simply using Hubspot popup or embedded forms... can anyone share their experience on when / why Gravity Forms + Hubspot was the way to go?

We're all set on this issue. In fact, we've managed to nearly perfectly replicate and or even improve on what we had with Gravity Forms direclty with Hubspot Embedded forms and / or CTA (beta). We're still waiting on a bug fix from Hubspot that occurs on submission of CTA (beta) that includes a form where the post submission popup doesn't realize correctly. But, other than that nailed it.

Hi,
We've successfully installed the Hubspot plugin for our wordperss site. We have multiple "Schedule a Demo" buttons on our site and wanted to leverage the new CTA (beta) to display a contact form on click.
We created the Form in HubSpot and then Created the CTA and have configured it to only be launched on click. We copied the code from the CTA that should be called on click and then put that into the Custom CSS for the button (at least we believe we did that correctly, per instructions).
On click, the button does not bring up a popup.
We have already disabled the popup form and dynamic action that would call the Gravity Forms button that were in place previously.
If yes and if you are still running into this issue, I would recommend connecting with HubSpot Technical Support, as Support is included in your subscription, and they will be able to provide real-time assistance for this matter, where you are able to share screenshots and further information about this.
Thanks, Bérangère

Thanks! The form fields are pretty simple. So not as worried about reselecting those. But, am curious as to why someone would continue to use Gravity Forms when Hubspot forms are available, and if one is converting from GF forms to Hubspot forms, how does one go about transitioning the styling so as to ensure look and feel doesn't change.

Hi @navroop , a few months ago I had the opportunity to analyze Gravity Form on a WordPress website. The WordPress plugin is well-implemented and integrates very well with the HubSpot addon. Also the HubSpot app seems to be working very well. For me, the benefits of keeping Gravity Forms active are:
styling and form setting have already been done and need no further work on the website code
easy to use and install
However, HubSpot Forms are HubSpot's most recommended choice because:
are directly integrated with the CRM
you can get more analytics data about your conversions
you will never have problems with compatible fields, cookie settings, or updating integration when you make a change
it’s already included in your HubSpot plan, you have no additional fees
So, it all comes down to this choice:
if you want to limit the work to be done (styling, use of ready-made forms) but you accept to continue to pay your fee -> Gravity Forms
if you want a direct integration, more possibilities in the form’s settings and HubSpot data, and eliminate the fee in exchange for an additional adapting style work in your website -> HubSpot Forms
I hope that my answer will help you to solve your dilemma. If so, please check my reply as a solution. This will help others find the answer. Best, Eddy

Eddy -- much appreciated. From what I can see so far your analysis seems spot on. The major advantage of keeping GF in the mix seems to be that of avoding re-doing styling. The forms themselves are simple (3 to 5 fields). So no issue there.
We used to have HS forms on our old site. When we did a site overhaul, the agency we brought on ignored the requirement to use HS forms and instead built all in GF. They're now refusing to migrate them and instead telling us to just us the plugin. We've found a few security issues with GF workflow and would rather cut GF out.
Any tips on transitioning the styling for GF forms over to Hubspot forms? Is there a guide that might help on that front? Is there a visual designed for Hubspot forms on Wordpress that we can quickly use to mimic the existing GF forms?
Trying to nip this in the bud without dealing with the agency.
I understand your situation, sometimes it is not very easy to solve this problem. Unfortunately, there is no common pattern for changing the style of a form, also because it is based on the style of the site itself.
So, I think you have two solutions:
In your HubSpot forms, you can use the internal "Style & Preview" feature.
Obviously, it won't be stylistically identical to the forms you currently have on your website, but you can work on it and try to make it as similar as possible.
Once done, you can copy your embed form, and paste it into your website pages.
In your HubSpot forms, turn on the functionality "set as raw HTML form" (which removes all HS styles from the form), copy your embed form, and paste it into your website pages. Once done, you must work with your WordPress CSS to fix the style and adapt it to the website.
This is the most precise solution but more challenging, and you need to involve an expert.

The challenge was not knowing which elements to apply css to. We coulnd't find docs, but figured it out in browser using inspect.
Dumping a list here in case it helps anyone in the future for reference to know what to look for. In no particular order and probably a bit out of context:
I also wanted to invite a couple of subject matter experts to this conversation: @Jnix284, @ChrisoKlepke and @louischausse do you have any tips to help @navroop to migrate the forms please?
Thanks a lot and have a good day! Bérangère
