Form submissions that create a different list depending on a tickbox

Hi there! Looking for some advice and hopefully this isnt too complicated.

I'm making a form that will be present on a website, but on it I have a tickbox that if they click it, it means they want to be emailed about updates etc and if they leave it unticked they want to opt out of it.

What I need hubspot to do is add the contact to a list for an email only if the checkbox is linked, but I am not sure what filter is best for this when I'm creating the list - or if the form setting it right

Hi @AParrott,

If you're using the default subscription checkboxes as part of the consent options in the form editor, then you would use this filter marked with (1).

Context:

Option (1) is what I would consider best practice.

If you have created a custom property (checkbox) and want to filter for that, you would find it under Contact properties, marked as (2) above.

Have a look at the documentation and let me know if you have any follow-up questions!
