Files Audit

I have been tasked with cleaning up our files (unfortunately someone dumped in thousands of them and they are not organized in folders). Anyone have an idea how I can speed up cleaning up and archiving the files/images rather than reviewing each one-by-one? Is there a report or something that can be ran to see what files are being used in assets or have been used recently? Thanks!!

Files Audit

Hi @msoren42, great question, thanks for asking the HubSpot Community!

You might want to take a look at the solution from @Anton on this post "How to identify where a function or a specific file is being used in all parts of your code ?".

And for information on the topic, here is a great article with detailed steps to: "Archive, delete, or restore your files".

If you'd like to bulk archive however, at the moment, this is not possible. I’ve noticed a similar idea already present in our Ideas Forum: bulk archive files. To contribute, you can upvote the existing idea and share more details about your specific use case in the comments.

Also, I'd love to ask our Top Experts: Hi @GeorgeBThomas, @BukunmiOdetayo and @StjepanGrcic do you have any insights to share to help @msoren42 clean up their files in no time, please?

Have a wonderful day and thanks so much for your help! ❤️

Best,
Bérangère
