External Email platform with a HubSpot Landing Page

Hi All,

I want to send cold emails through an external platform - Snov.io / Woodpecker.

I want to create this so that if a person opens 3 emails, in the 4th email I want him to opt-in to get our emails.

 

From this point, I can send him emails through HubSpot as a marketing contact.  How would you do it? Would you create a HubSpot landing page (with a CTA/A Form?)? Would you create a custom UTM code to track how many people you drove from the external email platform to the HubSpot opt-in landing page or the company's website?  Thank you in advance for your help 🙂

Hi @Eran_Rickman,

 

Correct, you would drive contacts from your cold email campaign to a landing page, created in HubSpot or not, as long as it has a HubSpot form. This form should have a checkbox for marketing consent: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/forms/add-notice-and-consent-information-to-your-hubspot-form-or-pop-u...

 

If you want to be able to see how many contacts came from your cold email campaign, then there are two options: you could create a specific landing page just for this campaign (which, unless promoted in other places means that submissions must have come from your cold email campaign). Or you create tracking links in any tracking URL builder, for example Google's. Before you do that, I'd recommend reviewing HubSpot's traffic categorization. Depending on the utmmedium, utmcampaign, utmsource, HubSpot will automatically associate the contact with a so-called original source: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/reports/understand-hubspots-traffic-sources-in-the-traffic-analytics-t...
