Duplicate a transaction

Hey Everybody,

Really simple question but I can't get a hold of the support team and i can't find the answer in Hubspot Academy.

Do you know if it possible to duplicate a transaction and then insert it in another pipeline ?

Hi @Martindb,

If you have access to workflows, then you can use the 'Create record' workflow action in a deal based workflow to clone a deal.

Otherwise, you'd have to look into marketplace apps like this one: https://ecosystem.hubspot.com/marketplace/apps/deal-duplicator-201603

so, there is no clone option yet for Deals

you 'll have to create a new deal in the other pipeline and copy the valules of the properties.

If you have starter you can rely on 3rd party apps like Zapier to do this.

Just to make sure we are talking about the same thing, are you using the term "deal" as the transaction or as the hubspot object "deal" ?

If it is the latter my question is really about the object transaction and not deal.

Maybe in that case there is a solution ?

Hi @Martindb 

deals is the standard object in HubSpot for the Sales hub. Transactions must be a custom object in your portal. 
the solution is the same either using workflows or zapier to create a new record and copy the information in properties.

I have the same question as for Maria Lucila.

@Martindb what exactly are you referring to when you say transaction? There is no HubSpot default object for transactions. Is this a custom object you created?

I re checked and "Transactions" isn't an default object. My bad.

So your first answer gives me all I need !

There is a solution but none that are possible pour the starter pack that I have.
