We had this request from one of TAG Marketing Consulting clients which is an eductional group want to create a report combination chart shows the number of monthly registered in Y1, count of repead registered Y2 We tried to handle this using HS workflow with take consideration of Retrospective Data. Below here the steps we have followed:
- Craete Dynamic List 1. Create the Dynamic List (Contact-based)
2. Create filter of all forms that recieved "Greater than 1" submission from a contact 3. Defined the duration "Create btw date range"
- Create Custom Property 1. Click on the Create Property button 2. Object type: Select Contact 3. Field type: Choose Number. 4. Name it "Duplicate Registeratiions" 5. Save
- Create Workflow 1. Navigate to Automation > Workflows and create a contact-based workflow. Enrollment Trigger: Set the enrollment criteria to include all contacts in your dynamic list (those who have repeated form submissions). 2. Action: Choose the Set Property Value action. 3. Select the custom property you created earlier (Repeat Form Submissions) and set the value to a specific number (e.g., set it to 2 for those who repeated once, or a value reflecting their total repeat count based on your data). 4. Turn on the workflow. This will update the custom property for all contacts currently in the dynamic list (retrospective data).
Hi @PPacheco2, I work for Insycle and wanted to provide a little more context here. Thank you for the recommendation @karstenkoehler.
Insycle offers super advanced deduping, and allows you to inject Insycle Recipes into HubSpot Workflows, so that duplicate records are identified and merged immediately after they hit your system and before your first communications go out.
Here is a quick breakdown of our Merge Duplicates module:
Use any field in your database as a potential duplicate matching field (unique ID field) to catch more duplicates.
Bundle Insycle templates together into a Recipe (individual templates could identify duplicates in different ways), and add the Recipe to your HubSpot Workflow.
Set rules for determining the master record that duplicates will all merge into or retaining data down to the individual field level.
Preview your deduplication runs to see how they work and ensure accuracy.
