Duplicate Contacts that get rejected

Hello,

Sometimes we get contacts that are "probably" duplicates but we don't have enough data to confirm they are duplicates. For example, we have our 1st contact with:

First name: John

Last name: Jones

Email john.jones@gmail.com

a 2nd contact has the following info:

email: jjones@yahoo.com

We think these contacts are duplicates but can't be sure at this point.

1) If we reject this merge, will these 2 contacts show up in the review duplicate suggestions at a later date which would allow us to compare them when we have more data? Or, once they are rejected they are considered separate contacts and will never show up again in the review duplicate suggestions?

Rejected suggestions will not appear in the duplicates tool moving forward, see here: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/crm-setup/deduplication-of-contacts-companies-deals-tickets

Hi Karsten, this is currently not happening. Records that were previously rejected are showing up again in the deduplication tool. Is this a known bug?
