I just did a list upload with 22,000 companies to try and accuratelt update company domain names. My challenge: I work in K-12 education, and several schools and districts use the exact same email domain.
I know that one solution is to create parent and child relationships, but they don't always actually have an overall relationship.
Is there any way for me to quickly update these domain names (either through an upload or otherwise) rather than having to manually update each record?
you could export the records in question / or all records and do some cleanup work in Excel. Once you have the file ready with the updated Domain Names or Company Names, you can import them again to update existing records. The Record ID will function as the unique identifier. When importing, make sure to select the right settings when it comes to updating / creating new records and overwriting existing records.

Hey @DHuntRiverside, thank you for posting in our Community!
You could set up workflows to automatically update company records based on specific criteria. For instance, you could create a workflow that identifies companies with duplicate email domains and then updates their domain names accordingly.
