Domain not connect to the right page

resolver

I've connected my domain to HubSpot, but it's pointing to the wrong page. It currently connects to the old version of my site (andrewskitchen.nz), which I’ve already deleted.

The correct page I want it to connect to is my new homepage (andrewskitchen.nz/home).

How can I fix this?

Thanks!

Hi @Andrew_nz when you connect your domain to HubSpot, it automatically makes it available for your website, blog, and landing pages.

Even though you don't have a blog currently, the root domain is parked for the blog because the blog slug is blank.

Here's what you'll need to do:

1 - Settings > Content > Blog - you'll need to scroll down to find the blog slug setting and make sure it contains a value (like "blog")

2 - Content > Website Pages > home page - open your home page and edit the Settings to remove "home" from the Content slug setting.

You'll have to have a value saved for the blog first before you can make the home page blank in step 2. I'm happy to help if you run into any questions along the way!

Thanks for the help, Jennifer.

Followed your instruction, I've done this - add the value at blog slug

But for the 2nd step, I cannot find the content slug setting under homepage. Can you please have a look of the screenshot below and let me know how to fix? Thanks a lot!

@Andrew_nz you're in the right spot for updating the home page, you just need to scroll down a little to reveal the Page URL and then you should be able to click into the box to edit it. Since it's already published, it will prompt you to confirm and create a redirect, just click on and then remove all the text from the content slug box.
