Do you have a list of workflows you create every time?

SOLVE

We are starting a new account and I am setting up 2 specific workflows:

Unsubscribes --> Non-Marketing

Hard Bounces --> Non-Marketing

Are there other workflows you always set up?

Hi @CGammon we have a bunch of best practice workflows to keep data clean, I highly recommend reviewing your sales pipeline to see if there are other triggers to set a contact to Non-Marketing (especially since it impacts your pricing).

For example a Closed Lost deal, depending on the lost reason you can determine whether you should enter a renurturing campaign or remove from marketing.

We also have workflows for creating Lifecycle Stage stamps, Lead Handoffs, Lead Recycling, etc.

Hi @CGammon,
while it depends on the use case and project, we usually set up these workflows in each new account:

  • Recurring Lead alert/task: Let the contact Owner or someone else know, if an existing lead converted again
  • Clean source mapping: Usually we create our own "First Contact Source" and "Latest Contact Source" Property/Values and set up a workflow to map this according to the "recent conversion" or specific form submissions
  • Missed call task: Really helpful for accounts where the team does a lot of calls

Just like you, we also always set up a "Revoke marketing contact status" workflow. We usually combine several triggers (like unsubscribes or hard bounces) in one workflow to have it all in one place.
