If I delete videos from my HubSpot file manager that were previously used for social media, will it cause any issues? I’m nearing my 50-video limit and was thinking of clearing some out, but I’m unsure if deleting them could have any negative impact. For context, I haven’t used these videos anywhere else on the website. Thanks!
Videos are uploaded to the social platforms at the time of publishing the video – unless you're including a direct link to the file in the post text, deleting the file does not affect existing posts.
I tested this in my own portal to confirm, and after deleting this file below, the LinkedIn posts with that uploaded video showed the video just fine:
There might still be other places where your videos are being used, or potentially places that direct-link to it. I'd recommend starting by deleting an old one and wait a bit before proceeding to delete more.
Best regards!
