Deal's Associated Contact Activity

SOLVE

We imported 400 deals into a pipeline, we then went into each deal and associated a contact with that deal. How do we get all the contact's activity to show in the deal?

Deal Name: John Headlee

Associated Contact: John Headlee

I want John's CONTACT activity to show in the DEAL named John Headlee

Thanks!!

Deal's Associated Contact Activity

SOLVE

Hi @DrewSchmidt7 I am afraid that it is not possible to retroactively (and in bulk) sync a contacts activity to a new deal that is created via import. This is possible if you manually create each deal one by one but not for imports unfortunately.

What you would need to do is go into each contact, find the events and engagemetns that are most relevant to the deal and add the deal as an association to the activity. You will be a small 'associations' droppdown on the bottom right hqnd corner of eqch contact activity.

If all of these activities are stored in another CRM you could also consider using Zapier or an integration to bring them all across at once.

Let me know if you have any questions and I'll be happy to help!

Hi Olivia,

Thank you for the information, I was hoping this would not be true, I ended up going in and manually creating the deal.

Thanks Again!
