Date as Today

Hi, 

I just want to know just like in Salesforce we can have the create date as "Today" So that in report or any date property it considers today's date. However, in HubSpot we have to specificy the date. 

Is there's any workaround where I can keep the date as today and do not have to update it manually.

@karstenkoehler thank you for the solution I have created the workflow as per the post you shared. I have a query so for any reports, list I will have to use Today's date property so that it will be considered as Today's date? Please guide me here, see below I'm trying to create the list where each day I have to update the today's date (activity date) 

So in this case do I need to AND it with new custom property i.e. Today's Date?

@AJ_Kakrot which contacts exactly should the list be showing? Without referencing HubSpot, can you explain which contacts you'd like to see?

@karstenkoehler so let me explain you whole idea here. So we use Knowlarity calling application, it creates the contact records by it's own if the record with that inbound number doesn't exists in HubSpot. So when this happens it creates a call activity in the contact timeline. 

So i want to create the list where inbound call was made by the contact as of today. Here if you see in my screenshot I used activity date by specifiying date but everyday I have to manually change the date to today's date. Hope this helps you understand my requirement. 

I want the list to be populated based on today's activity date. Please see screenshot below how it looks on contact level when inbound call comes. 

If you see above there are two call activities however in my active list I want to consider the recent or today's call activity. If this happens then my active list will be populated with only those contacts who has made the inbound call on today's date.

@AJ_Kakrot this is currently not possible in HubSpot. You can filter for "Activity is less than 1 day ago", but that would be the last 24 hours, not the exact date today.

Yes, this is possible but requires a few extra steps.

With Operations Hub Professional, you would simply set up a daily scheduled workflow that enrolls all records, then sets the value of a custom date property 'Today's date' to the date of the step: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/workflows/create-a-scheduled-trigger-workflow
