Customizable "Number of Times Contacted" Property

Hello!

We are looking to create a custom property that is akin to the "Number of times contacted" native HS property but we want it to be able to include custom properties of ours in the count such as conference attendance. We also want to be able to see the dates and types of contact vs just an accumulative total number.

Is this at all doable?

Hi @APierre8,

Some of what you're trying to do is possible, yes. You can set up custom number properties and use workflows to update them or calculation properties, if you're on a Professional subscription. (If you aren't, it's not possible.) https://knowledge.hubspot.com/crm-setup/create-calculation-properties

If you have "Number of times contacted" and another property that counts conference attendances, you could add them up that way.

This is not possible with properties, as there isn't any property type that would store all of these data points at the same time: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/account/property-field-types-in-hubspot

I see, and I'm guessing there's no way to "crack open" the provided Number of Times Contacted property to see what instances it's counting?
