Custom Hubspot User Fields for Filters on Reports and List Views

SOLVE

Our organization uses custom hubspot user look up fields to denote ownership on the account level. We have two fields:

Sales Person

- This is the account executive on the Account

Business Development Representative

- This the BDR on the Account

What I am realizing is that Hubspot Dashboard Filters and List view filters only allow us to leverage the standard owner field.

How can we modify the lookups to view the custom Hubspot fields? Otherwise, I am finding that I have to recreate many reports and list views, because Hubspot cannot support custom lookups.

Custom Hubspot User Fields for Filters on Reports and List Views

SOLVE

Hi @MMetros5,

In dashboards and filtered views, this is unfortunately not possible at this stage. Only the default object owner can be referenced there. Other users have already requested that dashboards should be filterable by any property. You can upvote and comment on the request here. This will increase the likelihood of it being reviewed by the product team.

For regular lists, you should be able to filter by custom owner properties. The property should show up along with all other contact properties.

Not a fully satisfactory answer, I know. If you consider this question answered and closed, you can make it easier for others to find this information by accepting it as a solution. I'd appreciate it!

Best regards!
