Creating a Property for a Company's Primary Point of Contact

I'm looking to see if it's possible to create:
A company property for "Primary Contact" where you can search the name of a contact and can select them to fill out the property. We currently have a property that is "single line text" but that doesn't link the contact and we have to type their name. 

It would also be ideal if in the contact's properties there was a property or way to reflect they are the main point of contact of the company they're associated with, kind of like a two way association property?

Anyone has done something similar or has a workaround for it?

This is best solved through an association label, not a property: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/object-settings/create-and-use-association-labels

You would define an association label for primary contact, could then apply it and also filter for it in lists, workflows, reports etc.
