Creating Vendor Contacts & Companies?

Hi all,

What are the best practices for setting up external contacts such as vendors, engineers, etc?

This would be at both the contact and company level.

Hey @Pwrpros there's no real hard and fast rule, it's really how you want to work. 

What I would normally do though is have a dropdown contact property for something like "contact type" which would have options for "vendor" "engineer" etc. You could also have this as a company property too. You could sync these if you wished through sync properties or workflows if you have access to these!
