One way to get the information across easily is exporting your company records with the single line text property – then simply re-importing the value into the dropdown property. Make sure the values match exactly, otherwise HubSpot will throw an error.
Also, during the import process make especially sure to map the record ID. Otherwise you run the risk of creating company duplicates.
