Cookie change from C0004 to C0003

I was wondering if someone has the answer to what we are looking to do please. We currently have our own cookie banner and use C0004. The team are wondering whether we could change to a C0003 however i've looked through hubspot docs and can't find anything around this and only information about visitors to hubspots site rather than visitors to ours with their code. 

It seems like changing to C0003 will be beneficial to us as we are losing a lot of tracking due to be C0004 but we also don't want to affect anything marekting/ads-wise. Has anyone else done this or have more information on this please? HS Support couldnt advise further.
