Contact List Backup

SOLVE

Hi,

What's the best approach to back up the lead records? Do I export all contact records or is there any other efficient way?

Thanks

Hi @KaKaRoT,

Exports would be the simplest, most straight forward and cheapest option, yes.

If you're looking for something automated then this app from the HubSpot app marketplace could be suitable: https://ecosystem.hubspot.com/marketplace/apps/productivity/connector/pro-backup-380854

Lastly, there's always the option to build something yourself, either using integration apps like Zapier or by working with the HubSpot API.

Best regards!

Hi @KaKaRoT,

The most efficient way to back up your lead records is to get a HubSpot backup solution provider. This way the backups would be automated and easily recoverable. As of now, there are no out-of-the-box features in HubSpot that will let you automate backups but you can manually export your data from HubSpot and store it on an external hard disk.

To get automated smart backups you can use external backup tools such as SysCloud. We have built a backup solution that can back up 21+ HubSpot objects, such as Contacts, Companies, Deals, Tickets, Landing pages, Blog posts, etc, including custom objects. The backups also include individual CRM record engagement activities such as notes, tasks, emails, call logs, and meeting logs.

You get granular restore options that allow you to restore an entire object, individual records, or even engagement activities in a record such as notes, call logs, tasks, and so on. You will also get multiple snapshots of these to choose from when you restore it back to the account.

The backed-up data can also be exported in .csv or .xlsx formats.

I hope this helps you 😊
