Company List as a Workflow Trigger

What about for company list and company workflows? I tried setting up a static list enrollment trigger for a company list and a company workflow, and I don't appear to have the option to enroll companies based on whether or not they are a member of the company list. It seems very strange that this would work for contact records and not company records? Why should that make any difference I wonder...

(for me) this is already possible, see below, after selecting "When an event occurs" > "Add trigger" > "List membership changed":
