I am on a mission to get hubspot used by our staff. The biggest complaint is that there is to much going on with the UI, to many buttons that lead to dead ends, that they don't need/use. Views and options that complicate what they are doing day to day.
We are trying our best to simplify not only the view, but the objects they interact with.
I am up against a wall though with the system itself it seems. I can't seem to hide irrelevent options.
For instance Service, everything in user permissions for services is turned off that i can turn off, but yet they still have a service icon in their task bar and access to a plethora of buttons they dont need.
How can I clean this up???
Services is just one example, but hoping we can get it figured out and then move on to the next.
Some itmes will disappear based on the permissions users have. It is not documented at all, as far as I know, which permissions enables or hides menu elements, unfortunately. But I'd encourage you to review permissions and see what can be removed if it is not used: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/user-management/hubspot-user-permissions-guide
These requests submitted to the HubSpot Ideas section of the community are reviewed by the HubSpot product team, based on their popularity and the assumed demand. I'd recommend commenting and upvoting.
You can also help other HubSpot users find this request more easily (and drive traction) by accepting my reply as a solution. I'd appreciate it, too.)
There are so many things going on in the middle section and right sidebar that are often not used at all and should be removed for end users, in my opinion.
Lastly, the UI is a factor in adoption but is not going to be your main driver. If you're facing low adoption, then it might be worth evaluating if another training and enablement session for the users groups who are complaining the most makes sense.
Best regards
