I want to create a chatbot and need to make it live on the website (hosted on WordPress) & on landing pages (HubSpot Professional).
In the chatbot, I want to capture a few details from the visitor such as name, email, contact number, and information (why they are reaching out).
Post providing these details by the visitor it should create a record in the database if it doesn't exist and the record should get assigned to one of our internal users.
Can anyone please let me know how to do it and suggest what's the best practice for the same?
I have tried to make heads or tails out of the Inbox Chatbot, but to no avail. Nothing I see allows me to send an email to my existing group like I can with a form. Is that possible? I have a channel for chat, but all that allows me to do is change the color of the popup. This is the most convoluted and confusing thing, why not make it work like the rest of the system?
