Can you filter by a term in a workflow?

SOLVE

I have a request to route lead notifications based on keywords in a field. Currently, you can only use "Is Equal To" which works fine if the field has predefined options. We have a field where people describe their needs in a text box and we want to look for certain terms. I am hoping that there is a "contains" option somewhere in workflows. If <FieldA> contains <term> then send notification to <internal contact>.

My other option is to provide a drop-down list of terms in our form, but that's not ideal.

@pinchvalve if you choose a different branch type (and/or branch) instead, you'll see your regular filter options.

Using an And/Or branch opened up additional filtering options, that was the trick. Thanks so much!

Sure, a branch is the only place I have to make an if/then decision (please advise if there are others) and I only have these options for the field I want to use.

Hi @pinchvalve,

What is the type of your field? If it's single-line text or multi-line text, you should also see the option to filter by 'contains any of' and not just 'is equal to'. Could you maybe share a screenshot of the option not being available to you?

Best regards
