Can't select a board when creating a new post from within a board

I just tried to create a new post by first going to a particular board, then entering a question, then hitting the "can't find what you're looking for create a topic" button.

The new post window then comes up, breifly flashes the board selector at the top of the page, then changes to display the board I was on in the header (which seems to make sense).

However, when I try to submit my post, it then tells me I must select a board to continue, but the board selector is nowhere on the form.

Using Chrome 109.0.5414.119 (Official Build) (arm64) on Mac

Hi Kristen,

The issue seems to arise on the Marketing & Content option. As you can see, there is no board option available.

I am also affected by the same issue & tried Chrome and Safari Browsers. Also tried to send you a loom but it is also giving me errors...

Yeah, still seeing the same issue. Happens if you go to any board as described above, enter a question, then click create topic. Eg: this board - https://community.hubspot.com/t5/forums/postpage/board-id/certifications_help

Seems like there's probably supposed to be something that sets the board based on where I am, but that doesn't happen and the field isn't showing to manually set it.

Thank you for the detailed description! I'm unable to reproduce this from my end, but I would be happy to dig into this further. 

Would you be able to share a video recording (Loom, Vidyard, etc) of this behavior so I can take a look into it with the team?

Are you still experiencing this issue with the CRM & Sales board?

Could you please include a link to the page where you are experiencing this behavior, in addition to the category name if applicable? Are you able to reproduce this on other boards?
