Can I add 'call to action' buttons to email templates and automate the response?

I'm pretty new to all of this but work alone running a magazine - I'd like to know if I can add buttons at the bottom of a cold or warm sales email template to aid/entice a reponse?  Ie i send an intro and media pack and I could add a button to say 'I'm interested' for instance and this could kick off a process to give them various options or a button to say 'Now isn't good give me 2 months' for instance so I would hopefully reduce my non-response rate.

I'm currently on the free account but mainly because I've not had time to explore the packages and how much of a fit they'd be for my needs so if you could let me know which package I'd need too (if the above can be done) that would be really helpful thank you 🙂

Hi @MumsTheWord,

I believe you can only do this with a marketing email, not a sales email and you would use the workflow feature to make it happen. You would need a subscription to Marketing Pro to use marketing automation for what you're looking to do. Once you have the functionality, it's not really difficult to do. I'd be happy to help you out.

In order to set something like this up, you will need at least the Marketing Basic package, but if you want to automate the process you will need Marketing Professional. Pricing can be found here: https://www.hubspot.com/pricing/marketing?selectedPackage=basic

You may also be able to use the Sequences Tool in the CRM, but that requires you to have a Sales Pro account.

The Sales CRM is designed for 1-to-1 communication, so you can't include a CTA button unless it's a standalone image that you attach, but you won't get any stats from doing that.

Hey Josh,

Thanks for the reply I'd not seen the two responses I'd had so thank you for taking the time to respond - I didn't know if this is an option within any of the functionality so didn't want to upgrade/lose time only to find it's not an option so thank you very much - I'll take a look at this as it'll save me loads of time if I can do this 🙂

Kind Regards,

Nik
