Best practices - notifications to contact owners - types of activities

We're rolling our HubSpot Sales to our team, Marketing Hub is already working its magic.
I was wondering what are the best practices to trigger notifications to contact owners (and on their activity feed) - today I see we receive notifications when contacts interact with email logged in HubSpot.
How about the following (which show up on the contact activity, but do not necessarily on the owner activity feed):
- contact clicked a link in the marketing email
- contact visited a web page
- contact filled in a form to download a gated resource
Do we need to set-up specific workflows so that these show up on the owner activity feed? (their home page).
Some of these notifications are built into HubSpot's notification settings and can controlled by each user indiviudally (with global controls starting to appear in betas: New Feature Alert! Globally Manage Notification Preferences ). For others you would need to build individual workflows.
