Best practices for creating list from form submissions

SOLVE

Hi,

I'm a relative noob as it relates to building HubSpot.  I've used it enough in the past to be dangerous 🙂

I'm looking for best practice recommendations around building dynamic lists.  My specific use case is that my website (hosted externally) has an ability to subscribe for a newsletter as well as blog updates (2 different forms)

I'd like to build a dynamic list for each form but I am not sure of the right approach.  Would you recommend creating a custom contact property and then setting that as part of the form submission and build the list off of the property or is there a smarter/better approach?

Thanks in advance for your insights.

Tony

Hi @TScaleseBDMCP,

No need for a custom property. In a contact-list, you can filter directly for form submissions 🙂 https://knowledge.hubspot.com/lists/create-active-or-static-lists

In there, you'll find your two forms. Select one, then create another list for the other form.

Best regards!
