I’m working on a project where we’re trying to streamline the way partners submit content for a client newsletter. Right now, partners manually enter article information into a shared Smartsheet, and our team pulls it together for the newsletter.
We’d like to automate this process so partners can submit articles via a form, and those submissions feed directly into HubSpot for easier approval and email integration.
Proposed Approach:
Partners submit articles via a HubSpot form.
Form submissions write directly to a HubDB table.
The HubDB table is referenced in the newsletter email for content pulls.
We set up an approval workflow before finalizing content for distribution.
Technical Requirements: Each article submission includes:
Title (with a hyperlink to the article hosted on the partner’s site)
Description
Author
Company
Where I Need Help:
Is it possible to have HubSpot form submissions write directly to a HubDB table?
If not, what workarounds have others used to achieve something similar? (Manual CSV uploads are an option for now, but we’d like to eventually automate this.)
Any best practices for automating the approval process before content is published to the newsletter?
I’d greatly appreciate insights from anyone who has tackled a similar use case or suggestions on how best to implement this workflow within HubSpot.
I'd like to tag in some of our Top Contributors to take a look here - @GiantFocal@alyssamwilie and @ChristinaKay Do you all have any suggestions on this one?
