Automatic assignment

Hi everyone, when I create a new task in a deal that only has one contact assigned, the task is automatically assigned to the deal, but not to the contact. Is there a way to assign the new task to the only contact in the deal automatically?

Hi @LeandroValencia ,

When you create a task in contact, the task will be associted to the contact automatically but not with the deal and other records. Simlilary when you create a task in deal , the task will be associted to the deal automatomatically but not with the contact and other records. You have to manually select the records to associte the task with.

Hi @LeandroValencia,

When you create a new task from a record, there is always an associations dropdown on the lower right of the pop-up:

This is where you can select to associate the task with other records (contacts for example) as well. It's not currently possible to do this automatically. (You can learn more about automatic association here.)
