Automated Email Triggered off Form Submission

SOLVE

Hi,

Our client has a team that sends out adhoc messages to a pre determined list, this team is not a marketing team and has no need to have hubspot access. Nor do they have the skill set or time to be building out marketing emails.

We are looking to build a form for them that enables them to select a marketing email type, add a view details, pick the contact list, submit and then send a sample copy for internal approval, then sends out the list to the remaining database.

Our thoughts would be that the form submission triggers an automaiton that uses IF THEN funcitonality to select the template and then imports the values filled in the form then sends to the person who fills in the form.

The initial approval template has a CTA on it for "Approved and Proceed to Send" this would then trigger another workflow that sends to the selected contact list. Question is, how would you attach the selected list to the second workflow?

Any suggestions?

Thank you

Automated Email Triggered off Form Submission

Hi @JRobertshaw7,

Interesting use case – have you considered inviting these users into HubSpot and using the email approval feature? https://knowledge.hubspot.com/email/request-approval-to-send-a-marketing-email

As far as your proposed solution goes, I don't see a way for someone to submit a form and reference a HubSpot contact list that is then emailed. In the initial form, the requester would have to specify which list should be used and the submission would have to trigger a notification to someone who can then manually add this list to the email and send it.

Best regards!
