Automat Prospect Conversion

SOLVE

Is there a way to automate the creation of company records for prospects browsing a site without having a contact linked to it?  We get several thousand companies on the site monthly and it would be useful for HubSpot to be able to bulk add company domains to create company records from the prospects.  Have looked through the automations but they all require a contact to be present.  If we can add the domains that are browsing the site and/or specific content then we can search for contacts for the company and reach out through LinkedIn to engage.  This applies more often to smaller businesses than large ones where we already have a contact with the domain on file.  

 

Thoughts?

Your best option currently may be to export a filtered view of visiting prospects monthly, then import as Companies. Filtering out ISPs which tend to be a large portion of companies will help reduce the size of the export/import.

 

Once done, you can filter the new import for companies with no associated contacts. This will give you a clean list of companies that visited your HubSpot-tracked pages.

 

Personally, we look for RE-visitors within our target markets (i.e., countries). But 1st-time visitors can also be a good place to start.

We look for revisitors as well and we also mark all page views for a contact so we can group them into content groups and understand what they might be looking for if they do not fill out a contact form.  The prospect companies look at a ton of content but without a contact we cannot reach out to them and adding them one at a time or even in bulk is painfully on my index finger!  🙂  I will try dumping them out and importing and deduping them.

Wait. "Deduping them"?


You're importing companies with no associated contacts. There should only be duplicate companies if they existed in HubSpot before with at least one (since deleted) contact. In either case, those are easily excluded by filtering on creation date.


BTW - nice focus on specific page views. That level of context can certainly help widdle down the list of contacts to focus on reaching.
