My team is coming across an issue lately with our email tracking. We want emails from our company email addresses tracked, but we do not want HubSpot to create a new contact for members of our company. So far we have not found a way around this. For instance, I want to track emails sent to and from @website.com but I do not want @website.com users added to my contact list. Is there a work around for this that I am unaware of?
Hi @amcgready it's possible to track emails without creating contacts, this is controlled by the "track" vs "log" function, if you only want tracking then
You can add your internal team to the "Never Log" list:
Which will allow you to email them with tracking (optional) but won't log or create records:

to clarify, @merfin29 the never log list is only for emails sent via the extension, it has no impact on form submissions - internal contacts who will out a form are not differentiated from external contacts unless you account for them in your automations/lists by excluding the domain using the email property.

This setting seems to work sometimes and not others.
And yet it created an email from a web form, which is sent as from username <website@e......com> (my domain) to me@e......com (same domain but not created)
