We are new to HubSpot CRM and want to ensure that all of our leads moving forward are tracked correctly.
I can see the original source will populate automatically but had a couple of questions that relate to best practices:
1) If we are tracking offline events, how is it best to handle this data. I assume you would mark the original source as 'offline events' but where is it best to then report on what event that lead came from? E.g. Tradeshow 1 2020, Tradeshow 2 2021 etc.
2) How do users handle 'how a lead got in contact'? For example, called the office, emailed sales directly, completed a website form etc. This would be useful information to know if certain contact methods increase the likelihood of conversion.
*Please note, our website is not yet fully integrated with HubSpot but when it is, we will be using non-hubspot forms.
