Associating offline leads from a tradeshow with a campaign

How do I associate new leads collected from a tradeshow with a campaign?

I imported a list with contact source tradeshow. I created a static list with those leads. I added that list as an asset with the campaign. 0 contacts associated as new contacts with the campaign. 

This really should be more obvious.

Does this attribute them as New Contacts created from the offline event? (static list added to campaign)

Contact source is not a default property in Hubspot and is likely something custom in your instance. By default hubspot sets an Original Source and Latest Source. Based on the fact that this was a list upload that would be set to "offline sources".

If you wish to add these contacts to a campaign, they should be added to a static list when you upload and that static list should be added as an asset to your campaign from the campaign screeen. If you did not create a list when you imported, you should be able to view the contacts from the import screen and then add those contacts to a static list.
