All Sandbox Users Unexpectedly set to Non Marketing

I just created my first Sandbox and imported users over using the native Hubspot Data transfer tool from within Settings->Sandboxes->set up sync to sandbox. 

All users came over as Marketing, which matches what's in the Production Account. Then, around 10:30PM all 5,000 contacts were set to Non Marketing in my Sadbox. I don't understand why this happened. 

I had set up a workflow to convert all hard bounced users to Non Marketing but only ~560 contacts enrolled in that workflow which was expected. 

Any ideas??

I can confirm that this is currently working as designed. Sandbox portals only copy over contact property values. The Marketing status is more than just a property value and this additional functionality/information is not copying over at the moment. As that data is missing in your sandbox portal, the marketable contacts audit job then "fixed" the state of the contacts, marking them as "non-marketing" in result. 

There currently isn't a timeline set to add this feature to the sandbox sync, but I can share your feedback with the product team! Did this impact your work or does it prevent you to run tests in your sandbox account? Thank you!
