Add Custom URL to Sequence Email

Hello! 

I'm working on an ABM campaign. Nothing too fancy (I didn't think). I've got 12 target accounts, a handful of prospects at each account, and one custom landing page per account. 

I added a custom company propert "abm landing page" where the URL is housed, so that I can insert this field dynamically in sequence emails. 

I thought it worked! It looked like it worked. The URL displays but does not hyperlink (in Outlook). So, I figure copy/paste it into the browser. It's adding % to the url path, thus resulting in an error. 

This is pretty basic stuff, right? How do people usually accomplish this? Surely people send custom URLs in sequence emails? I feel like I'm taking crazy pills 🙂

I set it up as a custom property on the company level. Called it "landing page url" and in a text field I put the desired URL. 

It technically works, but I can't seem to make it a clickable link. Worse, supposing the prospect copy and pasted the link into their browder (doubtful) the URL is picking up percentage signs, which cause a website error. 

I figured this would be a pretty basic ABM play. I've been quite surprised to see no good solution in either HubSpot or Apollo.

The solution to this was actually maddeningly simple. I'd been entering the URL information as plain text. So the output was...plain text. If you use a rich text field you can format it as a url, you know...obviously. Ah well. Live and learn.
