Hello there,

I'm the head of sales and i wanna see a report, which shows number of deals and leads, that have change the stage. Tasks, emails, other activities - doesn't show the progress of the week, only changing the stages at a funnel shows some progress.

How I can make that report?

Hi @invisibleon,

This is only available for deals through the sales analytics reports / sales report collections: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/reports/create-sales-reports-with-the-sales-reports-analytics-tool#typ...

In there, you should find "Deal change history: this report shows changes made to the deals' stages, amounts, and close dates. It also shows you the deals that were created. You can use this report to compare deal changes when it is within the timeframe and when it is out of the timeframe."

For leads, this does not exist yet.

Regular reports created in the custom report builder cannot visualize the change in records, only their current values.

Hey @invisibleon

for the leads or contacts you can consider properties such a Become a MQL /SQL / Opportunity /Customer

with the filter this week/day.

That will show you contacts that have changes Lifecycle stage.

You can also try the Funnel reports for both contacts and deals.

Thank you. Could you tell how does "close date" works in that report? I can't see the deals with date property "Create date". For example, I choose all the data, and see "Amount increased" like 7. But overwall in all sales funnels I see like 13+ deals with some amount.

And the report shows me "Stage moved forward" = 32. If the deal changed it's stage like 10 times, would be it counted like 1 or 10 times?

Thank you

@invisibleon here's the detailed description of this report:

Description

View changes on your open deal amounts, stages, forecast, and close dates. Compare the changes that happened on these deals across two periods of time. Please note: Only deals that were open during the time period selected will be shown.

How to use this chart

Pipeline changes occurred:

Use this filters to choose the date range when changes took place. This period captures any change that occurred relative to the “deals expected to close” period.

Deals expected to close:

Note: a deal's close date is the date the deal moved into a closing stage (a stage with 100% or 0% win probability). If the deal has not been moved into a closing stage, the close date is the value of the future 'close date' property. If the 'close date' property is in the past but the deal has not been moved into a closing stage, the deal is considered to be still be open and the close date to be the current time.

Change type

Filter deal change history by specific types of deal changes. There are 7 different change types including new deal created.

I totally can't get the logic, why do we build deals changes by the "close date" parameter?

@invisibleon I can't explain the motivation of the developers here, it's simply what it is and there aren't any other ways outside of the sales analytics to access change histories in reports, unfortunately.
