2 ticket properties to calculate another property

SOLVE

Hello,

Im trying to calculate the SLA for our tickets - I want to use 2 ticket properties to calculate another property e.g.

SLA Impact

SLA Urgency

Add those two together to make another field show an option.

e.g. if SLA Impact is 2 and SLA Urgency is 3 the calculated box shows P2

Is this possible?

I can see i can calculate a value but not seeing an option to pull in Ticket Properties

Hi @BBrown9,

Could you double check that you created these properties as ticket properties (and not accidentally for another object, e.g. contact or company) and that these two properties have the type number?

(Also, if you haven't refreshed your tab, HubSpot will sometimes not automatically pull in changes made in the background. In that case, please refresh.)

Best regards!

I think it's because I had them down as a dropdown - I thought it was possible to use a dropdown option and then use an internal value attached to each option to calculate the overall SLA.

That won't work, unfortunately, @BBrown9. You could map your dropdown to a number using a ticket-based workflow. If dropdown property value is 1, set number property value to 1.

Hello,

I have navigated to the calculation screen but in the drop-down menus I can't see the two new ticket properties to select from.

I have set an internal value on the other 2 properites and all i need to do is add them together.

Hi @BBrown9,

Is there a mathematical equation behind your example? I can't quite tell.

Generally, you should be able to create a calculation property based on other ticket properties, see below:
