chat transcript added to contact

Does anybody know if there is a way to connect a chat transcript to a contact when you receive their email address? the chat doesn't show up in the contacts activity/tasks/email/notes/calls overview. It would be really helpful to have this.

Hey @purdeyh 

 

The chat should show up on the contact record if you gather their email, maybe your filters aren't set up to show communications?

 

Here's it working:

This would be Amazing, so much important info is locked away in conversations under chat.  This is a goldmine of user experience and customer support data that could provide key insights for business.
